Mp3 encoding

If you want to encode music to MP3 format, you will need an MP3 encoder. You
can download an encoder in our software archive. The encoder will take a wav-file
and remove all the frequencies your ear can't hear. That makes the file about 90% smaller,
almost without reducing the sound quality.

Can I encode CD tracks to MP3's? Yes, but a normal audio CD doesn't use wav-files,
so you'll have to use a CD ripper to copy the music from the CD and save it as wav-files
on your computer. You can read more about ripping CD's here.

Keep in mind that you may NOT encode CD's you have purchased and post the MP3
files on the Internet. If you do so, you may be liable in copyright infridgement.
However, you are allowed to encode your own CD's if you want to listen to them
at your own computer.
